SHOP POLICIES & FAQ

You must be at least 18 years of age with valid government issued photo identification.

All deposits are held until your last appointment to serve as your lifetime security deposit. We do this so that you don’t have to place a deposit for every single appointment you book.

If you do not “no-show” to any appointments, deposits will be credited to your last session. Any missed appointments or no-shows without a 24 hour notice will result in the complete forfeiture of your deposit. In the event that you forfeit your deposit, you must place another deposit to book another appointment. If you let us know before then, we will be more than happy to switch the appointments around for you.

All deposits placed at Cloud Serpent Studios are non-refundable. Before booking with us, please be 100% sure you are ready for this commitment because tattoos are very expensive.

We guarantee touch ups up to 2 months after your last appointment. You may book your touch up appointment after your last session. Touch ups booked after 2 months will be charged the regular rate. Please make sure to book your touch up appointment before 2 months.

However, tattoos done on the hands and feet are not covered under the touch up policy because they are difficult to take care of and tend to fade quicker than tattoos done on other areas. Therefore, you will be charged the regular rate if touch ups are needed.

We do not offer or allow the use of numbing cream because it may affect the healing of your tattoo. Clients who choose to use numbing cream before coming to their tattoo appointment will not receive the complimentary touch up and will be charged their artist’s regular tattoo rate if touch ups are needed.

If the drawing has already been emailed to you and you decide you want to get something completely different, then we will require another deposit to start that design. This means that if you were getting, for example, a half sleeve of a koi but decided you wanted to switch to a dragon, then you would have to put down another deposit. This is because every subject is different and regardless of what you are switching your design to, it will take us time to come up with a drawing that meets the standard before your appointment.

All of the artists at Cloud Serpent Studios use fully disposable tubes and needles. Non-disposable equipment is sanitized with industry leading disinfectants after every client. In addition, all of our artists are required to have their Bloodborne Pathogens certification in order to stay up to date with safe work practices.

We accept cash and credit card payments. For credit card payments, there is a 3.5% processing fee.

We do not allow the use of numbing cream because it may affect the healing of your tattoo. Please do not put on numbing cream before coming to your tattoo appointment. Your artist will contact you one week before your first tattoo appointment to finalize your design. Once the rough draft is ready, your artist will send it to your email for your approval. Once approved, he/she will draw up the final draft and send it to you as well. Please make sure to keep an eye on your email around 2-3 days before your appointment to view the rough and final drafts.
